2026 chuck Criswell "Best of Show" AWARD WINNER
Congratulations to Steve Reuter of Dixon, Illinois, winner of the Chuck Criswell “Best of Show” Award at the 26th Annual Fizz Ehrler Memorial Turning Back Time Car Show in downtown Sycamore.
Steve’s 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Nomad, paired with a matching 1958 Herter’s fiberglass boat, earned the most votes from registered show participants. The display celebrates craftsmanship, family history, and classic Americana.
The boat originally belonged to Steve’s father in law and has been in the family since 1958. Steve restored it in 2015 and later painted it to match the Nomad. He and his wife, Tammy, regularly display the combination at both car shows and boat shows.
As the 2026 Best of Show winner, Steve’s Nomad and Herter’s boat will be featured in promotional materials for the 2027 show.
